Reconciling In Christ
Trinity Lutheran – ELCA is a welcoming and inclusive faith community.
We are Reconciling in Christ, which means we strive to ensure the welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; and to work for racial equity and to commit to anti-racist work.
We welcome believers, seekers, and the curious, regardless of religious background. God makes no distinction based on race; ethnicity; immigration status; economic status; physical, mental, or developmental circumstances; or other life circumstances. God loves and welcomes all people. Therefore, we welcome all people to the life of Christ at Trinity.
In coordination with the national organization Reconciling Works, Trinity Lutheran’s membership, voted to designate our church as Reconciling In Christ (RIC), inviting and welcoming church that openly recognizes and invites LGBTQ members of our community and their families, as well as others with ethnic, racial, social, financial and other life circumstances that may isolate them from enjoying worship, fellowship, and support.
