Solar Panel Project

Trinity Lutheran Church is proud to announce the completion of a 53.5 kW roof-mounted photovoltaic solar system.  Upon an on-site review by Fort Collins
Utilities, the system was activated on October 10, 2016, and is expected to satisfy approximately 70% of the church’s electricity need. The $147,500 project was a team effort, supported by the Trinity church council and congregation and funded by a partnership of Trinity members formed solely for this purpose as well as $20,000 rebate from the City of Fort Collins Solar Rebate Program. 
Installation of this 198 panel system was skillfully accomplished by NamasteSolar based in Boulder, Colorado.

ClimateWise Program

Trinity partners with Fort Collins ClimateWise program to reduce green house gas emissions by lowering energy use in our building. In 2015, we reached platinum level, the highest level of achievement.
