Worship and Music Ministry Goals 2010:
-
Collaborate with Pastor and all Ministries (
Fellowship/Evangelism/Outreach/Education-Adult &Youth/Stewardship) to build
using 3 liturgies the highest quality-inspirational & motivational worship
services for the congregation. ·

Recruit 3 new/active Worship/Music Ministry members- Chancel handbells;
congregational member at large; praise service member. Continue to meet 1st
Tuesday at 7pm or alternative time. ·

Proactively coordinate/schedule Worship Service Volunteers: Altar
Guild/flowers/paraments; Assistant Ministers; communion assistants; lectors;
sound system operators. Continue to involve as many church members as
participants and leaders according to their gifts. ·

Continue welcoming/building relationships/open attitude/saying”yes” for new
opportunities in our community to use our facilites/organ/provide special music
and worship services at Trinity. ·

Continue internal/external promotion/publicity of our excellent worship and
music services for all interested community members ( new & old) to attend.

Continue Chancel Choir singing 9mo Sundays@ 10:00am; 3 Summer Services;
Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday/Good Friday. Perform 1x with brass/orchestra
ensemble; 3x Handbell Choir and learn 15 new music works. Recruit new male
tenor/bass members; sing at St. Luke’s Episcopal Bach Festival.

Continue Chancel Handbell Choir learning new music and play at
Christmas/Easter/ Trinity’s All Music Concert/ and during the year.

Continue Organist providing: organ/pianos in tune; excellent selection of hymns
; excellent organ/handbell music works for our inspirational/motivational
worship service; practice with choir/handbells.

Continue Outreach Community Concerts- Marcia Yernberg Coordinator. Reduce from
5 to 3 . Increase attendance by increased publicity: bulletin announcements in
neighboring churches; posters; word of mouth; encourage members/choir members
to attend and invite a friend/neighbor. They will be:
