Stewardship Ministry

Greetings to all and I hope that you are enjoying this glorious spring! One of the many benefits of a long winter is the sheer, joyous rapture of life when the snow abates and green returns to the land. The word "spring" itself seems to be an understatement as all manner of life forms virtually catapult themselves into frenzied activity and motion. As part of this wonderful system, we too engage in a multitude of activities this time of year. There are graduation ceremonies to plan and attend, softball games, gardens to tend, vacations to plan, and so on. With all this in mind, it has been especially wonderful to see so much support of our ministries during last month's Ministry Fair. It has become quite evident that Trinity has been blessed with a great many thoughtful members who consistently act as faithful stewards of their time and resources. Thank you for this.

As we all know, stewardship can take many forms, and each act is no less important than the next. A great example of stewardship has been the completion of the Updated Carpool Map, currently at your disposal in the Fellowship Hall. Lou Stitzel spent a generous portion of time and effort gathering and displaying data to create this map, which has become a wonderful resource in which to promote community and an ethic of welcome. It is selfless acts and deeds such as this that truly weave together the many strands within a church and turn it into one splendid tapestry, strong and beautiful.

As you embark into this season of Life and Renewal, I ask you what you may wish to bring to Trinity: Is it your time? Is it a skill you could share with others? Or maybe it is the necessary monetary funds to see us through a long summer. Whatever gift you wish to share, I pray that the Lord bless you in your decision, and that you may feel the abundant love and appreciation of all that you bring to our family here at Trinity.

God Bless!
