Text Box: THANK YOU !!! Dear People of God at Trinity, Thank you for your prayers and support since Jim’s death. I could feel them strengthening me especially in the early days following that Friday. Thank you also for the beautiful plant that you gave me for my birthday. I also want to thank you for the generous memorials for the preschool, the memorial garden, trust, American Heart Association, and the general fund. Because I had so much support from my children and my brother’s families, a number of thank you notes were written as a group effort. Those were placed in the mailboxes at church. Please forgive any errors. There were numerous people that helped in handling services that first Sunday after Jim had died as well as getting things ready for the services on Thursday, and participating in them. I want to thank especially Pastor Dick Kling, Pastor Jason from Spirit of Joy, Pastor Sally, Pastor Michael from Our Savior’s, Marilyn Hartig, Mary Ann Miller, and of course, Bishop Allan. I have to say that the service was the most powerful “funeral” I have ever attended and much of that is because of the wonderful musicians who added their talents for the vocal and instrumental music. Thank you’s to Mira, David, Greg, Marcia, Josh, and Zach. Many thanks also to those of you who brought food to the house or to the various people who coordinated that effort. That was such a wonderful help. Also thanks to the Beckmans, Markleys, and Curries for the paper products and goodie basket for the kids. We also are so thankful for Mary Ann Armstrong’s care in watching our grandchildren during those days. Thank you also to the many people ( I don’t know all the names) who helped set up the sanctuary and fellowship hall and other areas with seating and tables, especially Bob Beckman, Andy and Erin, Reid, and Joe Domko. And of course, thank you to all of you who brought food, and helped set up, serve, and clean up after the services, especially Donna, Marlene, Marianne, Nyla, Anna, and Margo. Please forgive me for not naming you individually as I know there were so many people who helped in numerous ways. Please continue to pray for me (and my children and grandchildren) in the days and weeks ahead. Terry and family
