Text Box: Dear Trinity Friends,

It is with sadness in my heart and those of the other Board members that I write this article for the Tidings following the sudden death of our beloved Pastor Jim. He was a loving, caring, kind, and fun person and for me personally - a wonderful friend!! Knowing his love of children - he was a huge
supporter of our preschool. His frequent visits to the preschool were special to the children as he would sit on the floor with them - perhaps reading or telling a story. He loved them and they him. I will always remember with fondness at our recent preschool Fall social how he (again on his knees so he was at their level) blessed each of the little ones and their backpacks with his hands on their heads! What a precious sight!!

We will continue on as a Board with the same excitement he always shared with us regarding this
Ministry. He taught us well!

The Reformation Potluck didn’t go as planned but we appreciate and thank those of you who attended. We were able to use a lot of food left from Pastor Jim’s funeral.

Presently, we have 12 preschoolers and feel certain we will pick up a few more after the Holidays!

I want to share with you something my granddaughter, Macee ( who adored Pastor Jim) said to Erin when
talking about his death (and I am paraphrasing) “Jesus sent Pastor Jim to Heaven to run His church!” That brought tears when Erin told me. Only from the mouths of babes!

Remember you can contribute to the CCCC program through the end of December.

Many thanks for your continued love, prayers, and support of our Preschool!!

Blessings and love to you!
Mary Ann Miller, TLC Board President

Dear Trinity,

TLC Preschool is continuing to carry on after the unexpected death of Pastor Jim. The children are so young that they really don't have a good understanding of this, but the parents and families have expressed their condolences and concern.

We were able to have a fun outing to the pumpkin patch and the children had a wonderful time climbing hay bales, searching for the perfect pumpkin and chasing after a lively baby goat! We enjoyed a hayride and the beautiful fall weather granted us that day.

With the start of November, we will be emphasizing the Thanksgiving holiday and all of the reasons we have to be thankful for what God has provided us.

In this difficult period, we especially appreciate the love and support the congregation has shown to the preschool. We would like to find an especially meaningful project to honor Pastor Jim and his love of the
preschool and all children.

	God's Peace,
	Brenda Harju, Director
