Trinity has a longstanding relationship of support for Irish Elementary School in northwest Fort Collins.  The Poudre School District Foundation (PSDF) is inviting you to a "See the Future Tour" of Irish on Thursday, November 12th or Wednesday, December 9th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.  You will hear about how community dollars are at work to help children and staff be successful through innovative programs. "PSDF powers quality education for kids and you empower PSDF!"  Please contact the Foundation at 490-3206 to attend one of the scheduled tours.   November is World Hunger Month at Trinity! According to the ELCA, the average American spends around $65 per person on Halloween candy, decorations and costumes, ($20 on candy alone).  On average, ELCA members gave a little over $4.54 per baptized member to its World Hunger Appeal in 2008.  How much could we spend this year to help save a life?    You can support Trinity's World Hunger campaign during November by making a special offering to the ELCA: World Hunger, International Disaster Response, Domestic Disaster Response, or to our sister organization, Bread for the World.  Make your checks payable to: Trinity Lutheran Church with the organization of your choice noted on the memo line. You may use the ELCA World Hunger envelopes in the pews.  Also, please take a black ELCA book mark with you and remember, as Jesus said in Luke 10:37, "Go and do likewise".    Thank you… The Property Ministry would like to thank all who helped ‘Spruce Up’ the grounds before and after Pastor Jim’s service. Text Box: "Climate Change and Faith" Conference November 13-14 Colorado Interfaith Power & Light is sponsoring a conference for people of all faiths to expand our knowledge of climate change and explore our spiritual call to care for creation.  The conference will feature keynote speakers Hunter Lovins and the Reverend Sally Bingham, founder of Interfaith Power & Light.  There will also be workshops, "green" vendor exhibits, resource sharing and networking.  The conference location is Spirit of Christ Catholic Community, 7400 W. 80th Ave. , Arvada, CO.  Information brochures are available on the Sign-up table in the narthex and the Trinity Green table in the fellowship hall.  Please contact Wally Jacobson at 223-2276 with any questions.
