Text Box: COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES

Is there a College Student in your Family?

It’s that time of year again!!! We are in preparation of sending out our traditional Care Packages to our college age members from Trinity.

Boxes will be located in the Fellowship Hall beginning November 1st for filling. On November 29th they will be sealed and readied for delivery in time to help our fellow members get through finals week at college. This has become a tradition that is greatly appreciated and now is your opportunity to participate! Don’t miss out on the shopping fun!!!

Have fun shopping. Sam’s has lots of choices. How about microwave popcorn, granola bars, highlighters, gum, quarters for laundry, breath mints, post-it notes, pens, single serving drink packets for using in bottled water, Kleenex packets, individual fruit snack bags, stress balls, etc., etc.

If you have a College Student in your family, please call or email Glenna Brissey immediately and let her know their address (even if they are living at home). We don’t want to miss anyone!

November Prayer Shawl Meetings!

You are cordially invited to our next Trinity Prayer Shawl meetings.  We will gather at 10:30 am. on Saturday, November 7th and 21st  for an hour or so in the church
library.  Anyone with an interest in knitting or crocheting is welcome to join this new ministry that reaches out to comfort those in need.  As each shawl is created, prayers of healing are offered and thereby "woven" into the fabric.  Come join with us to discuss how to develop this ministry of love at Trinity, and feel free to bring your knitting/crocheting materials as we create these warm and prayerful wrappings.
If you have any questions, please contact Pam Jacobson at 223-2276.

LUTHERAN MEN OF SONG TO SING,  Nov. 22, 8 a.m.

Eleven years ago the LMOS began its chorus of men here at Trinity.  Initiated and organized by Maynard Dahlquist the chorus now has 40 members from 12 MSLC and ELCA churches in the area.  They sing 9 times each season and will climax this season by participating in worship at the U.S. Air Force Academy.  Directed by Mike Hunzeker their ministry of song consists of all volunteers.  Accompanists’ are  Carrie Kindred and Marilyn Hinrichsen.  This intergenerational chorus is
dedicated to enhancing and edifying the various worship settings where they sing.  New members are always welcome to participate on the third Sunday of the month 6:30 p.m. rehearsals and the fourth Sunday of the month services throughout Larimer and Weld counties.  They will sing at 8 a.m. at Trinity on Nov. 22nd.
