Dear Members of Trinity,

The recent Ministry Fair has given all of us a chance to reflect on the various duties and accomplishments of our ministries. We have Ministry leaders and teams doing wonderful things. We are also blessed with strong and dedicated staff. I would like to share some thoughts about them with you.

Our office manager, Linda Bleich has adjusted well to being salaried staff and does a great job of managing her hours and keeping the office running efficiently and producing our publications. Under her guidance our income for building use is nearly $12,000, a real bonus at budget time. Deb Schwartz, our Financial Secretary works a little over half time. In these hours she accomplishes all our payroll, bookkeeping and financial reporting as well as preparing and participating in financial planning. As the volunteers who work weekly with these women will attest, they are a joy.

This fall Joe Ayers became our custodian. He is a full time employee of Christ Community Church and works for us about 10 hours per week usually early mornings and evenings. Joe takes great pride in "his buildings" and the results show.

The work of our music staff Marcia Yernberg and James McCray is before us nearly every Sunday inspiring our worship. They also have combined to plan and produce our "Concert Series" opening Trinity to many. Saturday's are full of "Praise" because of Greg, David and Mira. We are truly
fortunate to have these professionals among us.

Erin and Andy Sprain our Youth and Family directors, have been a huge part of making us a more welcoming congregation as they attend to visitors and our current families. They have expanded the definition of "family" at Trinity to include all of us with inter-generational activities and program. Since we essentially have each of them "half time" we have partnered with Lutheran Ranches of the Rockies to fill out Andy's professional life. This "job share" arrangement is primarily being very
flexible with the time Andy spends with us and LRR. An obvious example is that LRR is very active in the summer when our program is at a lull. Erin is hoping to begin her nursing education this fall after working on prerequisites this past year. Again, we will be flexible and supportive as Andy and Erin create their future.

It has been a pleasure for me to work with Pastor Jim this last year or so. I especially appreciate
his passion for strong ministries here at Trinity. He is genuinely interested and spends time with all groups offering gentle leadership and support. We are a congregation just under the number of members where the Synod recommends an associate Pastor. This means Pastor Jim is a busy man. To my observation, he relishes his call to God's work every day.

Join me in thanking and being grateful to have these folks in our midst.

Worship, Welcome and Serve, Bob Beckman

Dear Trinity,
Once again we have been invited to participate in the building of a single
family home in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity. Anyone age 16 and older may participate. We have also been asked to pledge just under $4000 as a congregational contribution. In the coming weeks we will have more information available but (in the meantime) please feel free to call Tim Dolan @ 223-2427 or via e-mail (tim_dolan@Q.com) for further information. There will be a sign up sheet available in the office. In advance we thank you for considering this very worthy project that offers a family not a hand out but a hand up.

Thank you to Tim Dolan for accepting to be Thrivent Builds Congregational Champion! Nancy Harding, Thrivent Financial Services
