Preschool

Text Box: It's nearly Spring! I know I'm getting anxious for some warmer days and things turning green. TLC Preschool is blossoming these days. We have added one new student and may possibly be adding others in the next week or two. We are also getting an increased number of phone inquiries for fall, which is very encouraging! Things are noisy these days down in the preschool classroom, but that only means that we have many happy voices in there! We are just finishing our Community Helpers theme with a visit to one of the King Soopers stores. Our focus now will be on Easter and all that prefaces it. The children are always very intrigued by these stories and the fact that Jesus died for them. We remain thankful for your continued support of the preschool. With your help during the leaner times, we have been able to continue our outreach and are beginning to reap some rewards. We wish all the blessings of Easter and the spring season to you and your families! Greetings Trinity Friends, TLC Preschool is really the place to be if you are a 3 or 4 year old! They have so many activities going on - from coloring, painting, pasting, singing, reading to finally being able to play outdoors without freezing. The good news is that as if this week we have a new student - Andrew (a boy of course) giving us twelve students! Brenda tells us that the phone has been ringing frequently inquiring about our preschool. We’ve had a lot of visitors as well - some wanting to enroll their children now and some in the Fall. Another piece of good news is that the Board has decided to provide our preschoolers with an hour of music every other week. This will be provided by an outside source and will begin soon. Music is an important part of the learning process while being fun as well! A reminder to all! We will soon have a table in the narthex promoting our preschool with pictures and brochures for you to share with family and friends. In addition there will be a table in the Fellowship Hall displaying some of our fund raising items such as note cards made by the preschoolers, church cook books, red polo shirts and information about the CCCC tax credit program. We are planning other fund raisers, we think you will be of interest as well! Stay tuned!!
