Trinity was a founder of this ministry at CSU. As you will know Pastor Connie Winter Eulberg has served this ministry for many years. We have designated March 6-7 as Campus Ministry weekend at Trinity. This means Pastor Connie will preach and we will receive a generous special offering that weekend to help out with the budget responsibilities of this ministry. In the age of the diminishing resources of our synod and churchwide offerings we need to uphold our local ministries at the local level. Yes, I know many of us have diminishing resources as well, yet we are able to respond to special needs. Campus ministry is important in so many ways. Many students are away from home for the first time and that can be difficult. Faith questions abound for young people. Non-Christian religions and other quasi spiritual movements abound. Behavioral opportunities that are destructive to body, mind and soul await. Our campus ministry pastors like Pastor Connie are of invaluable service to students. There is deep concern that some of these ministries may go away due to financial restraints. I hope you will consider an extra gift that day — mark your check “campus ministry.” Pastor Paul  CALL PROCESS PRAYER The Call Committee is in the prayer chain! We will also include prayers in our weekly liturgy. As I said at the congregational meeting you have the privilege, the right, the responsibility to converse with any of the group concerning your ideas. There will also be the Ministry Site Profile, that all will be asked to fill out. These steps are essential to a successful process. Please also respect confidentiality! We will ask the committee to report to the congregation on a regular basis concerning progress. You will be informed along the way.
