TRINITY'S BOOK CLUB

The Book Club meets on the 1st Monday of each month at 9:30am in the church library.  We choose a book each month to discuss.  These books are in the church library in the section with a yellow dot on the spine.  To sign out a book, sign the card in the back of the book and place it in the BLACK BOX.  Please return as soon as possible, so that others can read the book.

The TLC Book Group will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6th, for a discussion of a suspense thriller Defending Jacob by William Landay  in which an assistant district attorney is faced with his teen son being charged with the murder of a fellow student.  A copy of the book is circulating from the church library; it can also be borrowed at the public library.

Looking ahead, we will be reading in June The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore -- a non-fiction account of two young, black men (both fatherless and both named Wes Moore) who grow up in Baltimore at the same time.  One ends up in jail; the other is a Rhodes Scholar.  What makes the difference?

Questions?  Call Nadine Hunt at 568-8579 or Lois Olsen at 206-0764.  All are welcome, even on an occasional basis!
