Text Box: “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us….”

What a wonderful picture of the Christ Child coming among us. As we celebrated the wondrous revelation of God coming to us in a manger, it is impossible to walk away from the manager
unchanged. We are again reminded that in the days and months ahead, things will again change at Trinity. Some changes will be easier than others and some of us will be more ready for change than others. However, what a glorious journey awaits when we remember that the Christ Child became flesh to dwell among us.

January is filled with exciting possibilities and opportunities. We will celebrate the ministries at Trinity around worship the last thee Sundays of the Month. What a great time to explore the many ways that our community comes alive in service. Come to worship with an open heart and a prayer that God would lead you to a fuller understanding of life in ministry.

We will also begin the ‘Call process’ as January unfolds. Don’t miss the wonderfully unique
journey of prayerfully supporting the process of calling a Pastor to Trinity. On January 23-24 Pastor Dan Bollman, assistant to the Bishop will be in our midst to facilitate understanding and answer any questions or concerns about the future steps on the journey ahead.

Meanwhile, it is important that we continue to dialog and pray for the Spirit’s leading. Many
stories have been shared on our healing path. Those stories are important and need to
continue. We also need to lift up prayers asking for guidance and direction so that with the Spirit’s leading we may move forward in building God’s kingdom at this place called Trinity.

Pastor Paul and the Council members are always available and willing to listen and support. Please consider this your personal invitation to dialog with any one of us as you wish. It is
important that we connect and communicate at all times, but especially during these days of transition and change.

Pastor Jim left us a wonderful legacy of witnessing, welcoming and walking in faith. With God’s guidance we are prepared to move forward as a vital force in the faith community of Fort Collins and surrounding community.

Pray without ceasing,
Marilyn Hartig, congregational president
