Text Box: -13- Text Box:  TLC Preschool hopes that the New Year is off to a blessed start for everyone! The children came back from their Christmas break eager to socialize and expend some energy! The children have been learning about winter. We’ve painted and glued some adorable snowmen and have played with a fun substance called “Insta-Snow”. We’re finishing up learning about germs and how to stay healthy, and will be moving on to a unit on Community Helpers. We’re hoping to have a field trip to a grocery store during that time. One change in our program is that Erin Sprain will now be helping us out regularly by job-sharing the preschool assistant position with Kris Lee. I’m so glad to have her join us, and the children enjoy her presence in the classroom. We will be participating the Mother’s Center Preschool Fair again this year and hope to reach many families with our small, unique program. It’s a very busy few hours, but if we can register even one new family with our preschool, it will have been worth it! Continued thanks to all of you who have graciously donated to TLC Preschool and allowing us to improve and update our program. We are deeply appreciative of this support! God’s Peace, Brenda Harju, Director NEW YEAR`S GREETINGS! TLC Preschool ended the year 2007 with a delightful Christmas program!! They sang from their little hearts - some very loudly - others not even moving their lips! Cameras were flashing - proud parents of course. Preschool is now back in session after what seemed like a lengthy vacation. Our faithful director, Brenda Harju reports the phone has been ringing - inquiries about TLC. It is our hope that we will have thirteen students by the end of the school year in May! At a recent board meeting , our treasurer, John Kochenburger, reported that we ended 2007 on a positive note. Our various fund raisers have been most successful. New ideas for fund raisers are being researched - ones that will both interest our congregational members and help the preschool.
