AED TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

Have you seen the AED mounted in the west hallway? Although we sincerely hope there is never a need to use the AED at Trinity, we also believe it is important to be prepared. The AED emits very clear instructions and can be used by anyone. However, the Heart Association requests that trained individuals are available as much as possible.

Trinity will be hosting a training on April 5, 2008 and everyone is welcome. The cost of training is $45 per person. Married couples can take advantage of a ‘Buy One Get The Second One At Half Price” offer. The first 4 members of the Trinity family to signup will be sponsored and paid for by Trinity.

Saturday, April 5. 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Call Marilyn Hartig to sign up now.

Contemplative Prayer – A Way Into Relationship with God
(using the method of Centering Prayer)

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

After the excellent series on “Prayer” presented by Frank Benz we would like to offer an introductory workshop on Centering Prayer.

What is Contemplative or Centering Prayer? “Centering Prayer is a prayer method in which you sit in silence with God… In the Christian tradition Contemplative Prayer is considered to be the pure gift of God. It is the opening of mind and heart – our whole being – to God… Through grace we open our awareness to God whom we know by faith is within us.”

Introductory Workshops taught by qualified instructors last four hours and are usually given on a
Saturday. We would like to offer an Introductory Workshop at Trinity if people are interested.

Interested? Watch for brochures and a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center and the Education
Ministry display at the Ministry Fair. Visit the Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. Website at:
